Overview

Memora Trips is a privacy-first, offline-first application. Your journal is encrypted on your device. Optional features use protected device data only with your permission, and optional iCloud Backup stores a recovery copy in your private iCloud container.

On-device AI and Photo Analysis

When creating a Trip Book, Memora may use Apple Intelligence and Apple Vision directly on your device to analyze photo composition and organize the scrapbook layout. Photos, captions, prompts, and generated results are not sent to Memora servers or third-party AI services and are not used for model training. A non-AI layout is used when Apple Intelligence is unavailable.

Data Collection

Memora does not operate account, analytics, advertising, or tracking servers. The app contacts service providers only when needed for a feature you use. Specifically:

• No user accounts or registration required
• No analytics or tracking
• No advertising
• No sale of personal data

Data Stored on Your Device

The app stores the following data in its encrypted local database:

• Trip memories (titles, dates, locations, notes, ratings)
• Photos you attach to memories
• Planned trips
• App preferences and settings

iCloud Backup

If you enable iCloud Backup, Memora stores a recovery copy of your memories, plans, photos, ratings, notes, activity summaries, and settings in the app's private iCloud container. This copy is controlled through your Apple ID and is not available to Cerberus Software Technologies. You can disable backup, keep the existing copy, or delete the iCloud backup from Memora Settings.

Calendar Data

Calendar access is optional and is requested only after you choose Scan My Calendar. Memora reads event titles, dates, locations, and notes to identify possible trips. Scanning and matching happen on your device. Scanned events are not sent to our servers, Memora never changes your calendar, and Memora does not access or change reminders.

No suggestions are selected automatically. Only trips you explicitly choose are saved to Memora. Saved trip details may be included in your private iCloud backup when backup is enabled.

Apple Health and Activity

With your permission, Memora reads step counts and cycling distance for your trip dates. Memora does not write to Apple Health. Activity summaries saved with a memory remain local unless you enable iCloud Backup or explicitly export or share them.

Location Data

The app may request location permission to:

• Tag your current location when creating a memory
• Detect arrival at planned trip destinations using region monitoring

Saved memory and plan locations are stored in the encrypted local database and may be included in your private iCloud backup. Map, geocoding, and weather providers may receive the coordinates or search text needed to answer a request.

Third-Party Services

• Google Maps / Places API — Used for location search and map display. Subject to Google's Privacy Policy.
• Open-Meteo — Receives the coordinates and dates needed to return weather information.
• Apple iCloud — Stores an optional recovery copy in the app's private iCloud container when you enable iCloud Backup. Subject to Apple's Privacy Policy.
• Apple StoreKit / Google Play Billing — Used for in-app purchases. Subject to Apple's and Google's privacy policies.

Data Deletion

Deleting the app removes its local data. If iCloud Backup is enabled, the private recovery copy can remain after uninstalling so you can restore it later. To remove it before uninstalling, go to Memora Settings, turn off iCloud Backup, and choose Delete iCloud Backup. You can also manage stored app data through your Apple iCloud storage controls.

Children's Privacy

We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13. The app does not require any personal information.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date.

Overview

A La Mesa is a local-first family card game. You do not need a permanent player account to play. The device hosting a game keeps the authoritative game state, while connected players receive only the information needed for their view of that game.

Data Collection

Cerberus Software Technologies does not operate advertising, analytics, or tracking systems for A La Mesa. We do not sell personal data. The app and its connection providers process only the information needed to run the features you choose to use.

• No permanent player accounts or registration
• No advertising or cross-app tracking
• No sale of personal data
• No cloud storage of decks, hands, scores, or saved games

Data Stored on Your Device

A La Mesa may store player display names, game preferences, room and player identifiers, private rejoin credentials, and saved game information on the devices participating in a game. The host device stores the complete game state, including the deck, hands, turns, and scores. Other players receive privacy-filtered game views, so a player's private hand is not sent to unrelated players.

Multiplayer Connections

Multiplayer gameplay uses encrypted WebRTC connections between devices. A temporary signaling service processes room codes, session membership, connection negotiation data such as SDP and ICE candidates, and short-lived relay credentials so players can connect. This signaling service does not store the gameplay state, deck, hands, scores, or saved games.

When a direct peer connection is not possible, an encrypted connection may be relayed through a TURN service. As with other internet services, network providers may process IP addresses and technical connection data required to deliver traffic. Temporary room and connection information expires after the session.

Player Photos and Camera

Adding a player photo is optional. If you choose a photo or use the camera, the app crops and compresses the image for use as an avatar. The avatar is sent to the host and participating players for that game and is not uploaded to a central A La Mesa photo library. You can use initials instead of a photo. Camera access may also be used when you choose to scan a game invitation.

Saved Games and Retention

Saved games remain on the applicable device until they are removed by the user, the app's local data is cleared, or the app is uninstalled. A La Mesa does not currently synchronize saved games through a cloud account. Session-scoped connection information and shared avatars are intended to last only as long as needed for the multiplayer session.

Permissions

A La Mesa requests camera or photo-library access only when you choose a feature that needs it. Local network and internet access may be used to discover, connect, and communicate with players in a multiplayer game. You can manage these permissions in your device settings.

Third-Party Services

• Cloudflare — Provides temporary signaling and connection infrastructure. Subject to Cloudflare's Privacy Policy.
• Apple App Store / Google Play — Distribute the app and process platform services. Subject to Apple's and Google's privacy policies.

Children's Privacy

A La Mesa is designed for family play and does not require a child to create an account. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 through our own servers. Parents and guardians should supervise children's use of optional player names and photos.

Security

We use local protected storage, privacy-filtered gameplay views, encrypted WebRTC transport, and short-lived connection credentials to limit access to game information. No security method is perfect, so players should share room invitations only with people they trust.

Your Choices and Data Deletion

You can decline optional photo and camera permissions and use initials instead. You can remove saved game data using available in-app controls, clear the app's local data through your device, or uninstall the app. Uninstalling removes A La Mesa's locally stored data from that device.
